CIC CIB reinforces its commitment to sustainable mobility through its participation in a £980m financing round for Zenobē, a leading provider of electric vehicle (EV) solutions for public transport.
This £980m financing round, the third for Zenobē's UK and Ireland EV-focused debt facility, brings the total capital raised to over £3.2bn since 2017. Combined with Zenobē’s €325m European EV fleet facility, this investment will support the deployment of more than 1,200 new electric buses and associated charging infrastructure over the next three years, aiming to reach up to 5,000 electric buses by 2028 and accelerate fleet decarbonisation across the UK and Europe.
The transition to electric public transport is crucial for reducing emissions and improving air quality, and CIC is proud to support Zenobē in their mission to electrify fleets and contribute to a more sustainable future.
