CIC CIB is pleased to have supported Boralex in securing a €1.45 billion financing package covering all of its operations in France. The facilities refinance the Group's entire French onshore wind and solar PV portfolio while securing funding for its investment program in the years ahead. The transaction marks a key milestone in Boralex's 2030 strategic plan by providing the financial flexibility required to further strengthen its operations in France.
CIC CIB played a leading role in the transaction, acting as Mandated Lead Arranger, Facility Agent, Security Agent and the largest lender in the banking syndicate, underwriting more than 20% of the total facility amount. CIC CIB is proud to support Boralex's continued growth and future development. This transaction fully reflects CIC CIB's commitment to financing sustainable infrastructure projects and actively contributing to the energy transition, in line with the Crédit Mutuel Alliance Fédérale Group's long-term decarbonization strategy.
Pierre-Emmanuel Audran, Head of Project Finance at CIC CIB, commented: "We are honored by the renewed confidence that Boralex, a long-standing client of the Group, has once again placed in us. This transaction reflects the many years of successful collaboration between CIC CIB and Boralex, and we are delighted to continue building on this longstanding relationship."
