CIC CIB acted as co-arranger in structuring a €288 million senior bank financing to support the construction of a portfolio comprising 228 photovoltaic plants and 2 wind farms, with the majority of assets being greenfield. The portfolio represents a total installed capacity of 244 MW split between France (approximately 180 MW) and Spain (approximately 64 MW).

This transaction fully reflects Crédit Mutuel Alliance Fédérale’s commitment to supporting the energy transition and the modernization of renewable energy generation infrastructure in France and Europe.

This new financing also represents a significant milestone for Mexens, enabling further progress in its energy diversification strategy and international expansion, while strengthening its position in the renewable energy sector.

Pierre-Emmanuel Audran (CIC CIB Global Head of Project Finance): We are honored by the trust placed in us by Mexens. This transaction aligns perfectly with the strategy of CIC CIB - and more broadly the Crédit Mutuel Alliance Fédérale Group - to support the energy transition.
